Importing Business Data Into Your New Syncro Account
Table of Contents
Getting started with a new platform is much easier when you don't have to start from scratch. To help speed up your onboarding process, Syncro offers multiple ways to securely bring your existing business data right into your new account. Whether you're transferring assets from a previous RMM, importing customer lists via CSV, or syncing directly with your accounting software, we've got you covered.
Here is the complete, detailed list of what you can bring into Syncro and where applicable, the different ways you can do it.
Client Information
Organizations (formerly Customers): You can import your existing client list using a provided CSV template. See Import Existing Organizations.
End Users (formerly Contacts): You can import your contact information using a CSV file. See Import or Export Existing End Users, and Microsoft Integration.
Assets and Tickets
Assets & Historical Tickets: You can migrate devices and past tickets using our Agent Installer Utility or dedicated importers for Atera, Autotask, ConnectWise, and Ninja. See Migrate Assets From Another RMM.
Our support team can also assist you with importing manual Assets (like monitors, printers, etc.), Invoices, and Tickets.
Accounting Integrations
Accounting Data (Chart of Accounts, Tax Codes, Customers, Products & Vendors): You can pull this data directly into Syncro when setting up your accounting integration. See Set Up QuickBooks Online (QBO) or Set Up Xero Online.
Microsoft Integration
End Users: You can automatically pull and sync your existing users from Microsoft Entra ID directly into Syncro as End Users. See Set Up Microsoft Entra ID User Sync.
Inventory
Products & Services: You can bring your inventory over in bulk via CSV file. See Import Products & Services.
Vendors: If you've already mapped your accounting data, you can bring your vendor list over in bulk via the same CSV file. See Import Products & Services.
Quick Adds/Community Links
While there are no direct tools in Syncro to bring these in from other platforms, you can easily add scripts and OID monitor recipes.
Scripts: Import ready-made scripts directly from the Syncro Community Script Library.
OID Monitor Recipes: Import SNMP monitoring recipes using a public link. See Share OID Recipes in the Syncro Community and Work with OID Monitor Recipes.
