Restore Microsoft 365 Calendars & Entries
When you need to restore a calendar or individual calendar entries for a user's Microsoft calendar, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Syncro Tenant's Details Page.
- In the Cloud Backups section, locate the row for “Calendar” in the Service column, then click Restore:
The Backup Portal displays the Calendar page. - Use the dropdown menu in the upper left corner to search for and select the affected user's name/email.
Tip: If there are a lot of users, enter a user's name in the Search field. - In the left side panel, check the box(es) next to the calendars you want to view or restore. (All calendars for the selected user are pre-selected.) The right side displays the current month for each calendar:
- If you want to restore the entire calendar, click Restore Selected Calendars.
- If you want to restore a single calendar entry, click on a day to view all entries on that specific date. (Or, over the mouse over the circles to see the titles.) Then, click on an individual entry to open it in a new window.
- Click Restore to initiate the restore process. The restoration may take some time.
Notes:- The latest version of an individual calendar entry is restored by default. To view and restore older versions, click the “Revisions" link:
- By default, calendars and/or entries are restored to the original user account, but you can select a different user account within the same Microsoft 365 tenant as a restore destination.

Calendar entries are recreated in the selected user's Microsoft 365 Calendar.
