Backgrounding Tools 1.0.71 Release: 12/10/25

Backgrounding Tools version 1.0.71.16336 will be deployed on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

Kep updates in this release:

• Eliminates a memory spike in the SyncroLive process caused by screen resolution changes during Remote Desktop sessions.
• Resolves persisting ‘Remote Host not Found’ errors resulting from our agent not exiting properly after Windows session changes (e.g. logout, RDP connections).

Important information for all Backgrounding Tools releases:

• Backgrounding Tools releases are automatic; no manual action is needed.
• The update affects the path: C:\Program Files\RepairTech\Syncro.
• Action required for whitelisting: If you use tools like ThreatLocker or AppLocker, you'll need to allow this path to ensure continued automatic updates.
