If you're a tech who works out in the field, you can use Syncro Mobile to:

  • View Customer details 
  • View End User details
  • Create new End Users
  • Edit an End User's details

This document describes how you can use Syncro Mobile to accomplish these Customer- and End User-related tasks.

View Customer Details

To view details about a specific Customer, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the “Customers” menu item to open the Search Customer field. 
  2. Start typing the name of your Customer and tap the one you're looking for.

Syncro Mobile displays their:

  • (First) Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Company Name
  • Phone

Below that, you'll see the number of End Users related to this Customer.

View & Edit End User Details

To view details about a specific End User, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the “Customers” menu item to open the Search Customer field. 
  2. Start typing the name of your Customer and tap the one you're looking for.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap “N End Users” (where “N” is the number of End Users related to this Customer).
  4. Start typing the name of your End User and tap the one you're looking for.

Syncro Mobile displays their:

  • (First and Last) Name
  • Job Title
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Notes
  • Address

Below that, you'll see the number of Assets related to this End User, if available.

If you want to edit the End User's details, in the upper right of the search field, tap the pencil icon. Make any changes you'd like, then click Save.

Create a New End User

To create a new End User, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the “Customers” menu item to open the Search Customer field. 
  2. Start typing the name of your Customer and tap the one you're looking for.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap “N End Users” (where “N” is the number of End Users related to this Customer).
  4. In the upper right of the search field, tap the +.
  5. On the New End User screen, enter the new End User's:
    • (First and Last) Name: This field is required.
    • Job Title
    • Email
    • Phone: This field must include an area code but otherwise does not require specific a format.
    • Notes: Any notes you'd like to capture about this End User, which will be available when you view them later.
    • Saved Locations: Optionally, select the Customer Address to prepopulate the Address fields.
    • Address 1 & 2, City, State, Zip/Postal Code: Alternatively, enter the address of the End User.
  6. Tap Save. Syncro Mobile returns you to the Customer Details screen and reflects the new number of End Users.
