POS Settings Reference

Navigate to Admin > POS - Preferences to find all your POS-related settings in Syncro.
This document describes what each setting does.
- Enable POS Module: Check this box to enable use of the POS Module. For more information on the POS module, refer to this article.
- Enable Upsell Opportunities: Check this box to be able to offer upsells to your end users.
- Don't Require the Register to Close Daily: Check this box to use the register for multiple days without forcing a close. If you do this, be sure to manually close the register periodically so your reports still make sense.
- Default POS Tab: Select which section of your POS screen shows by default. The full list of Items is the default, but you can also specify the Manual/scan Forms or the Categories view (if enabled).
- POS Timeout in Minutes: Enter a value for the number of minutes the POS page may sit idle before a logout is forced and the lock screen is displayed. Keep in mind that having the POS open in a different tab will still trigger the timeout. (Enter 0 to disable timeouts.)
IMPORTANT: After changing POS settings, be sure to click Save.
