Syncro's End User Management with Microsoft feature is for anyone whose Contacts/End Users are on the Microsoft platform. 

We closely align with Microsoft so you can leverage the information you already have in your Microsoft Tenants inside Syncro. 

When you integrate Syncro with Microsoft, you can choose to connect individual tenants or your CSP, so you have more granular control over which users or groups are included in the Entra ID User Sync.

Once you map your Microsoft and Syncro Tenants, you can use Entra ID User Sync to add and update Syncro Contacts/End Users based on their User Type, Department, Office Location, Domain, and/or Group assigned to the users within the Microsoft Tenant.

The MS Entra ID User Sync provides:

• The pre-population of Contacts/End Users in Syncro, based on those you've already set up in Microsoft Entra ID.
• Ongoing consistency between Syncro and Microsoft Entra ID as users are added, removed, or changed.
• Tracking of Microsoft licenses by Contact/End User and license counts by tenant.
• Tracking of the Microsoft Secure Score for tenants.

Set Up

To set up End User Management in Syncro, you'll need to:

1. Integrate Microsoft and Map Your Syncro Tenants.
2. Set Up the Entra ID User Sync.

That's it! From then on, you'll be able to see Microsoft User Details for your Syncro Contacts/End Users.

Example Scenarios

Here are some ways you can use Syncro's End User Management feature to make your life easier:

1. Let's say you acquire a new client. You can configure a Microsoft Tenant and add the (Customer) Organization's users to that Microsoft Tenant. Then in Syncro, you can add the Organization and use Microsoft Entra ID User Sync to create Syncro Contacts/End Users right from Microsoft. There's no manual effort to add Syncro Contacts/End Users.

2. If you're new to Syncro, you can create Syncro Tenants and (Customer) Organizations for each of your clients. After you map your Syncro and Microsoft tenants, you can use Microsoft Entra ID User Sync to create Syncro Contacts/End Users for all of your (Customer) Organizations. There's no manual effort to add Syncro Contacts/End Users.

3. You can update Microsoft Tenant(s) when new users are added and/or whenever existing users are edited or disabled. Assuming the Entra ID User Sync is active and still running, Syncro is updated from Entra ID every hour so that changes don't have to be manually duplicated in Syncro.
